    • Open to all experience levels.
  • WEEKEND #2: Wildlife Tracking Weekend Next Level – September 19th & 20th. 
    • Intended for trackers with more experience and/or those who attended the 1st weekend.

Wild Wisdom: Fire by Friction with Bob Etzweiler

Location: Retreat Farm in Brattleboro, VT – Saturday, August 15 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Come learn and practice various traditional fire making by friction techniques. Folks will have a chance to practice bow drill, flint and steel, and other fire starting techniques and learn how to create tinder bundles off the landscape to nurture embers into flames. This is a free event and registration is appreciated!

Join expert Wildlife Tracker Bob Etzweiler for a brief presentation and hands on exploration of the tracks and signs of local wildlife. Expect to leave with more understanding of how to track on your own as a first timer or with some more advanced knowledge and skills if you have already begun this exciting adventure into getting to know the natural world around you more deeply.
